Hathaway Chief Executive Warren Buffett nearly doubled his holdings in Walmart
Stores (WMT) in the quarter ended September 30, according to the Wall Street
Journal.
Buffett
increased his holdings of Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, to 37.8
million shares on September 30, up from 19.9 million at the end of June, the
Journal reported. WMT is a Cabot Benjamin Graham Value Letter stock.
Berkshire’s
total value rose more than 15% to $56.6 billion at the end of September,
according to the Journal.
Buffett’s
Berkshire also owns stakes in Exxon Mobile (XOM), Travelers Cos. (TRV) and
Wells Fargo (WFC), which are all followed in Cabot Benjamin Graham Value Letter. ---
